To calculate yield from income, use the Monthly Dividend Yield Calculator. For advanced planning (DRIP, growth, optional tax), use the Main Dividend Income Calculator.
FAQ
Why is yield annual if I want monthly income?
Yield is usually quoted per year. This tool calculates annual income first, then divides by 12 for a monthly estimate. If an investment pays quarterly, you may receive larger payments four times a year, but the yearly total is what the yield represents.
Does this include dividend growth or DRIP?
No—this page is a quick estimator. If you want growth and reinvestment modeling, use the main calculator.
